It must have been be a joke. Or you are talking about one of the popular American disinformation newscast. It has become standard fare to blame Muslims since the 9/11 deception.
Otherwise it would say that the biggest source of terrorism in the world is the United States.

It's bullshit (that quote) intended to make us think that there is some kind of natural enmity between 'us' and 'them'. Pure propaganda.
The truth, as I see it, is that the majority of intelligence agencies do not support terrorist activities, but all terrorist acts are actively supported, if not directly committed, by agents of the intelligence community. The worst offenders: CIA, Mossad, MI6, and anything closely connected to that nucleus of evil.
It's a totally illogical and nonsensical statement. I agree with Sepp. In my opinion, as a non-US citizen living out here in the big wide world, the idea of being "assisted" and "policed" by the US army is a pretty scary thought. Fortunately in countries run by tyrants but where there is no oil, such as Zimbabwe, the US army is less likely to show up.
I find it confusing, confounding. I'd disagree with the notion that all terrorists are funded back-door by intelligence agents, though some are, and this has been revealed in many books and through good investigative work.
But, I take a different view. The "Empire of Record" or the greatest standing Empire in any age, is an electro-magnet. It draws immigrants, emigrees, it draws fire. It can't help but to draw both.
Rome, in the first century BC, and AD, moved from "Republic" to Empire. And so have we. The Lombards, Goths, and other assorted European, Eur-Asian (the Steppe peoples), Mid-eastern and North African peoples who attacked and invaded and infiltrated and eventually overthrew, and then became the Roman Empire, (or Holy Roman Empire), were not secretly-funded intelligence agents. They had been 'infected,' however, by desire, jealousy, resentment, or some other set of wants and needs, that sought their cure in taking it from the "empire of record."
Today, we are the Empire of record. We face the invasion. And when we ourselves invade and annex sovereign kingdoms? (Iraq, for prime example). Well, we've opened a path to our own destruction, I fear. But, terrorists exist, and terrorism is real, in my view...
Suddenly I have found myself to be in my mid-forties with a lot of life experience behind me. Most of it I never thought I'd have to go through. I have decided to start blogging about my life's journey so far, personal thoughts, things that affect my existence, what it takes to maintain good health in a very toxic world, and any other topic that crosses my little brain that I find important.
I hope some of you out there will find some useful information here, or maybe just some laughs and things that make you smile.
